June D. Dustin, 83, of Methodist Gardens, 430 East Ave., Falconer died Monday (December 28, 2009) in her home.
A lifelong area resident she was born July 7, 1926 in Sinclairville, the daughter of the late James and Lydia Hutchins Hopkins.
June attended Cassadaga Valley High School and prior to retirement had been employed at Gretchen's Kitchen, The Heritage House and various restaurants in the Jamestown area.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are three sons; J. Dwayne (Evelyn) Dustin of Falconer, James D. (Cynthia) Dustin of Sugar Grove, PA, Jon D. Dustin of Warren, PA, three sisters; Grace (Earl) Champlin of Wellington, FL, Onnollee Goodwill of Gerry, Diane (Don) Vrenna of Erie, PA, two brothers; James (Jan) Hopkins of Rapid City, S.D., Everett "Chip" Hopkins of Punxsutawney, PA, 7 grandchildren; Barbara Dustin -Shields, Randy Dustin all of Jamestown, Dwayne (Karen) Dustin , Jason Dustin, Jamie (Fred) Carder all of Falconer, Colleen (Gary) Caswell of Kennedy and Susan Hewes of California , 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. Dustin on April 29, 1984, three grandchildren; Joseph H. Dustin on March 10, 1968, LuAnn Dustin on October 21, 1968 and Richard D. Dustin February 16, 1971.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Breunig pastor of Falconer United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today and one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
