having known Charles, Charlie, but mostly "Chuck for more than 60 years I can only echo what all of us treasured about him. He had a good heart,a very wry wit, strong bonds to friends and family, remarkable underplayed business acumen and what I enjoyed most in later years on my infrequent visits to the old homestead was good conversation over drinks especially over long lunches at the Town Club discussing a wide range of subjects which were grist for his special intellect...and there was always room for 'one for the road.' And so a last,'one for the road auld lang syne' for a BCC brother who will be very, very missed.....
