Karen L. Camarata, 56, of 1171 N. Main St., Jamestown passed away Monday (February 22, 2010) in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center.
She was born December 13, 1953 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late J.D. Buckley and Lois Doty Hartman.
Karen attended Falconer High School and in earlier years had been employed by Lutheran Social Services as a nurse's aid. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping and crocheting. Karen had also been a babysitter in Falconer and Jamestown for many years.
Surviving are her companion Merle Morrison, two sons; Billy Buckley, Anthony Camarata, three brothers; David, Howard and Thomas Buckley, six sisters; Melody Lantz, Donna Becker, Teri Westerdahl, Betsy Mitchell, Becky Jordan and Dawn Doverspike.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; James Daniel Buckley, Jay William Buckley, a sister Alice Marie Buckley and her step father William Hartman.
A celebration of Karen's life will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Friday (Feb. 26, 2010) in the Falconer First Wesleyan Church, 126 W. James St., Falconer.
Memorials may be made to the Falconer Public Library, Chautauqua County Humane Society or Falconer First Wesleyan Church.
