She was always there when you needed her no matter what time of day...she was the best aunt anyone could ask for..

Although I only knew Karen for a short while she was a huge impact on my life. She was a wonderful woman and always smiled even when she was feeling her worst. One of the strongest women I've ever personally met. I remember sitting bed side with her several times when she just wanted some company. She would tell me MANY stories that would make us laugh so hard till we had tears in our eyes. She had such a cheerful spirit. She will be missed very much by all of us at Heritage Park.
For Karen's family I would just like to say...
When a person you love passes away
Look to the night sky on a clear day.
The star that to you, appears to be bright,
Will be your loved one,
Looking upon you during the night.
The lights of heaven are what shows through
As your loved one watches all that you do.
When you feel lonely for the one that you love,
Look to the Heavens in the night sky above.
God Bless you Karen! <3

As an employee of the hospital, I spent a lot of time with Karen while she was a patient. I grew very fond of her and will miss her sense of humor. She was a wonderful, kind woman. I know she is now in God's hands, embracing her brothers whom she missed dearly.

I'm so sorry to hear that Karen has rushed off to see her father and family.
Although I never really knew my cousin Karen, I have photo's of her and my father Carles Leslie Buckley prior to his passing in 2000. I enjoyed the stories he shared from his road trip to visit with her. It was just recently I opened a metal box of his to find letters she had wrote and pictures of them and the family from his trip. I know she had some very unique handwriting! It's so sad that we continue to loose so many of our family at such a young age. To the remaining family members please join myself and more Buckley family members on facebook.

It's been years since I last saw Karen. We were both youngsters when your parents came to Detroit for a visit. Your Dad was a very special uncle to us. After your Dad passed away, it seems that everyone lost touch with each other. I can only regret that we never connected. Your family is in our prayers.
