Agnes M. "Aggie" Bianco, 90, of Mapleshade Ave., Falconer passed away Friday (July 2, 2010) in WCA Hospital.
A lifelong area resident she was born August 15, 1919 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Auda Marcellen.
Agnes attended Falconer High School and in earlier years had been employed by Swanson's Machine Shop and had waitressed at the former Bongo Room, Vince's Diner and various other restaurants.
She was a member of the Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion Auxiliary. Agnes enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, word puzzles, fishing and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter Donna (Anthony) Conti of Naples, FL, three sons: Louis Bianco of Jamestown, Eugene "Skip" (Judy) Bianco of Falconer, Richard (Holly) Bianco of Gerry; 11 grandchildren: Phillip Conti, Stephanie Conti, Tracy Taylor, Trisha Bianco, Alexander Bianco, Richard Bianco, Beth Lansberry, Lindsey Bianco, Lauren Bianco, Leslie Bianco, Steven Bianco and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Z. Bianco whom she married September 2, 1944 in Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, who died July 10, 1992, a son Stephen A. Bianco who died September 23, 1984 and a brother Louis Marcellen in 1947.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
