Paul W. Heyl, 53, of Ellington passed away Saturday (July 3, 2010) in WCA Hospital.
He was born August 11, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Lawrence Heyl and Janet Corrie .
Paul was a 1975 graduate of Oliver High School, Pittsburgh.
Paul loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing. He was also an avid Steeler, Penguins and Yankees fan. He was a big man with a bigger heart and truly devoted to his family.
Surviving are his wife Rebecca Smith Heyl whom he married May 21, 1983 in Jamestown, a son Cory Heyl of Ellington, a daughter Cassandra Heyl of Jamestown, four brothers: Dominick (Lori) Heyl of Germantown, Maryland, Larry Heyl of Pittsburgh, PA Steven (Kini) Heyl of Louisburg, NC, Forestt (Kathy) Hodges of Pittsburgh, PA two sisters: Sharon (Steve) Shean of Pittsburgh, PA and Elizabeth (Jim)Snodgrass of Engleside, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday, July 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Ellington Fire Hall.
