Friday, October 13, 2017So unexpected to hear about John--When I'd run into him he was always upbeat and ready to talk about deer hunting or real estate. We were members of the Real Estate Investors Assoc- and met monthly then. You couldn't help but smile around him and he was one that you would never have expected this. So sorry for your loss and will miss him in the neighborhood. Roger Penhollow Pancake Hill Rd Real Estate Advantage.

Thursday, October 12, 2017We were very sorry to learn of John's passing. I always enjoyed our encounters at the produce auction and up at the "Cow." The world is a little bit darker without his "tie-died" shirts to brighten the day. Prior commitments preclude my attending the visiting hours and the "Celebration of Life" but I'll be thinking of John. Our heartfelt sympathies. Terry and Linda Toy

Thursday, October 12, 2017So sad to hear of John's passing. He and I were friends during our High School Years, we graduated together. Life's road led us apart until the 50th class reunion. We became friends once again. I found John had become very much an outdoors man and businessman. When Joan and I made our trips to Bemus Point we always sought out John, for his friendship, humor, and of course the wonderful Maple Syrup he produced. As a friend and as a man Joan and I will miss John. GOD Bless Gale and his family. Doug/Joan Bloomberg Meridianville, AL
