Ronald R. Dennison, 65, of 888 Hunt Rd., Lakewood passed away Monday (February 5, 2018) in his home.
He was born March 20, 1952 in Jamestown, the son of the late Wilbur A. and Natalie DeMuro Dennison.
In earlier years Ron was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. Ronald was employed by the Resource Center.
He enjoyed going on outings with staff and residents of The Resource Center. He enjoyed watching football and baseball and was a Buffalo Bills fan. Ron also enjoyed listening to country music and looking at mechanical books about trucks, airplanes and ships.
He is survived by his brother David Dennison of Sugar Grove and a sister Linda (Patrick) Blalock of Lakeland, FL; a sister-in-law Diane Dennison of Fredonia and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Natalie Dennison on December 9, 1988; his father Wilbur A. Dennison on February 27, 2002; his brother Daniel Dennison and a sister-in-law Susan M. Dennison.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Brian Haight of Mission Covenant Church, Sugar Grove will officiate. Burial will be in Webster Cemetery, Town of Pomfret.
Friends will be received by the family from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
