Sandra Kay Canaley Dispenza, 74, formerly of Falconer passed away Saturday (February 10, 2018) in Heritage Park Rehab Skilled Nursing.
A lifelong area resident she was born November 18, 1943 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Larry and Reva Johnston Canaley.
She was a 1961 graduate of Falconer High School and in earlier years was employed by McKallor Drug Company in Jamestown and Quality Markets in Falconer. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church.
Sandra enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, listening to music, playing cards, camping and baking and cooking.
Surviving is her brother Larry A. (Susan) Canaley of Falconer; her sister Laurita (Robert) Franco of Jamestown; three daughters: Roseanne, Lori, Jodi; several grandchildren; a nephew Larry B. (Heather) Canaley; three nieces: Stacey (David) Allen, Lucy (Brian) Gallets, Reva Franco Liuzzo; several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Reva Canaley on November 15, 1985 and her father Larry J. Canaley on May 10, 2000.
The Canaley family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Heritage Park for the care Sandra received.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Joseph Jananczek pastor of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
