Falconer Funeral Home was founded in 1936 and has been located at the current location since 1938. Frederick Mattison operated the funeral home for 42 years, and in his tenure added on the current chapel which is used today. In 1978, the funeral home was purchased by David Vanstrom. During his tenure he has made many improvements to the facility including off street parking, handicapped bathrooms and ramp, and has made the facility and business a benchmark in the Village of Falconer. Currently, the funeral home serves many communities in the surrounding area. We continue to serve families from generation to generation with empathy, dignity and respect.
The facility is comfortable and spacious. We have a large viewing room where visitation, funerals & memorial services are held as well as a room for personalization. We also have a large selection room and offer a variety of caskets and urns to fit the family’s needs. The facility and grounds are handicap accessible.
Our mission statement is to provide meaningful, personalized services to the families we serve, and carry out the final arrangements in a dignified and respectful manor. We strive to treat every family as we would be served and continue to be a resource to the community and the families we serve.
