Terry J. St. Clair, 66, of Jamestown passed away Sunday (December 30, 2018) at UPMC Chautauqua after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer.
He was born June 4, 1952 in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Richard S. and Rosetta (Keys) St. Clair.
Terry was a graduate of Penns Manor High School and received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University in Pennsylvania.
In earlier year he was employed by the former Hills Department Store as Lost Prevention Coordinator. Prior to retirement he was employed by the Jamestown Police Department for 20 years as a police officer having earned the rank of Sergeant.
Terry was a member of the Jamestown Kendall Club, F & A Mason of the Silvan Lodge, Consistory, 32 F& A Mason and Shriners. He was also a member of the Shiners Marching Band. While in college he had played intercollegiate soccer for Indiana University Indians and he was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.
He is survived by a brother Richard G. (Tina) St. Clair; two sisters: Brietta J. Mighells, JoEtta (Bill) Vodopivec. He is also survived by nephews: Eric (Tammy) St. Clair, Joe Vodopivec, a niece Traci (Brendan) Ryan; great nieces: Caitlin Ryan, Mallory Ryan, Nikki St. Clair and great nephews Cody St. Clair and Owen Vodepivec and special friend Vicky (Doug) Burdick.
The family wishes to thank Jennifer Brentley for caring for Terry and being his friend during his last days.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Timothy Phelps chaplain of Hospice of Chautauqua County and Palliative Care will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer.
Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the funeral service Friday in the funeral home.
