Carol M. McKotch, 81, of Falconer passed away peacefully Wednesday (June 17, 2020) in her home surrounded by her family. A lifelong area resident she was born January 28, 1939 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Roy and Ethel Hall Romp. She attended Jamestown High School and in earlier years was employed by Lake County Dairy and Acu-Rite. For over twenty years she was employed by Howard Hannah Holt as a real-estate agent. Carol was a member of the NYS Porcelain Artist Association and enjoyed her family, painting porcelain dolls, cooking and her dogs. Surviving is her husband Paul E. McKotch whom she married September 30, 1961 in the Falconer First Baptist Church; a son Scott P. (Tami) McKotch of Jamestown; a daughter Bonnie L. (David) Anderson; three grandchildren: Ryan Gunnell, Courtney (Andy) Sickles, Sara (Derrick) Adams; six great grandchildren: Nolan and Payton Gunnell, Charlotte and Evelyn Sickles, Caleb & Jocelyn Adams and her twin sister Donna (Brian) Gustafson of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Robert R. Gunnell and a sister Darlene Dean. As per Carol’s wishes no funeral service or visitation will be observed. A private graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family in Lake View Cemetery. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date.
