Carl G. F. Johnson, 94, formerly of 52 Pearl Ave., Jamestown passed away Monday (September 7, 2020) in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Home. A life long area resident he was born February 14, 1926 in Jamestown the son of the late Edward C. and Ruth Mary Esther Stolhandski Johnson. Carl was a graduate of Jamestown High School and was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946 in Northern France as a Rifleman. He is survived by his caregivers Robert and Rhonda Lindquist of Falconer. He was preceded in death by his father in 1936, his mother in 1937, his brother Edward Johnson in 1957, and his uncle Frederick Johnson in 1987 whom raised Carl. The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. J.T. Madison pastor of Evangelical Covenant Church, Port Allegany, PA will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
