Judy Lynn McChesney, 76, of Jamestown, formally of Falconer, passed away Saturday (October 3, 2020) in Lutheran. A lifelong area resident she was born May 11, 1944 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Marvin C. and Gundborg J. Sanderson Neathery. Judy was a 1962 graduate of Jamestown High School and had worked at many local bars and restaurants for over 28 years. Prior to retirement she was employed by TOPS Markets. She was a member of the Falconer Moose Lodge and former member of the Falconer Horseshoe Club. She had pitched in several state and local horseshoe tournaments. Surviving are two sons: Kevin McChesney (Lesley Miller) of Kiantone and Bradley H. McChesney of Mayville. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Brian L. McChesney in 1970, a brother Paul H. Carlson in 2001 and her long-time companion Kenyon W. “Hoppy” Hopkins in 2015. As per Judy’s wishes no funeral service or visitation will be observed. Memorial contributions may be donated to a charity of one’s choice.
