June M. Studd, 88, formerly of South Work St., Falconer passed away Friday (May 28, 2021) in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Gerry. A lifelong area resident she was born April 11, 1933 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Lee and Essie Meabon Studd. June was a graduate of Falconer High School. She was last employed by Accredited Care as a home health care aide. She enjoyed many hobbies and interests. She did well in golf. Also, she planted large flower and vegetable gardens. June was an artist with many talents of wood carving, landscapes and drawing portraits. She also cast concrete yard ornaments. She took care of many stray cats besides her house cat. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Loris, Marshall and Warren Studd and two sisters: Lillian Wade and Leona Watson. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Petry Chaplain of Heritage Group will officiate. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the funeral service Friday in the funeral home.
