Donald N. Schuppenhauer, Sr., 75, formerly of Celoron passed away Saturday (July 29, 2017) in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
He was born August 4, 1941 in Ellicottville, NY, the son of the late Walter and Helen Gleave Schuppenhauer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War.
Prior to retirement he was employed by Blackstone Corp and Valeo for 40 years retiring in 2002.
He was a former member of the Falconer Horseshoe League and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and bowling.
Surviving are three sons: Donald Schuppenhauer Jr., Daniel (Michele) Schuppenhauer, Darren Mongitore all of Jamestown; three granddaughters: Kaylee, Anna and Marisa Schuppenhauer; four brothers: Charles, Doug, Leonard and Robert Schuppenhauer.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son David Schuppenhauer who died November 22, 1989; a brother Edward Schuppenhauer and a sister Vera McCormick.
Don's wishes were to have no funeral service or visitation.
