Obituary of Edith Reimondo

Edith F. Reimondo, 85, of Kennedy passed away Wednesday (February 7, 2018) in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center.

A lifelong area resident she was born April 12, 1932 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Angelo and Angeline Urso Frattalone.

Edith attended Jamestown High School and in earlier years was employed by AVM Corp, Nugents Department Store and Quality Markets. Edith was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a member of the Club Girls.

Surviving is her husband Donald J. Reimondo whom she married June 6, 1953 in St. John's Catholic Church; three sons: Donald J. (Karen) Reimondo of Michigan, Wayne (Ramona) Reimondo of Dewittville, Gary (Rhonda) Reimondo of Apalachin, NY; five grandchildren: Christopher Reimondo, Carrie (Kyle) Smiley, Michael (Meghann) Reimondo, Michelle Reimondo (Paul Karabon), Morgan (Justin) Templeton and nine great grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Allison Reimondo; a grandson Brian Reimondo and two brothers and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis Mende pastor of Holy Apostles Parish will be celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Altar and Rosary Society of OLL will conduct a rosary service at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. A Christian Wake service will be held at 3:45 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
