Susie was greatly admired and will be remembered for her independent spirit and peppy sense of humor. Susie was a survivor. Susie lived through the Great Depression, was a real-life Rosie the Riveter during WWII at Republic Steel in Canton, OH, was the sole caregiver of her disabled son for 32 years, and later in life worked full time as a first-rate Housekeeping Cleaner. Despite the hardships life can befall, Susie found a way to find the joy and beauty of life.
Susie was an avid reader and enjoyed a vast array of hobbies from decoupage to sewing to knitting to gardening to many others…
One of Susie's greatest gifts was her ability to laugh at herself. With Susie's quick sense of humor, you knew a memorable comeback was going to send you away laughing.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Orchard Grove for the years of loving care and friendship they gave to Susie.
