Obituary of James "Bruce" Mace

James "Bruce" Mace, 75, of Ocala, FL went on to be with our Lord on May 7, 2018, after a brief illness.

He was born February 2, 1943, the youngest son of Alfred T. Mace and Mary Caryl Norquist Mace in Jamestown NY. He graduated from JHS in 1961 and received a degree from Jamestown Community College. He is a US Air Force Veteran.

His passion for classic cars and buying and selling were evidenced by his first business, JB Mace Used Cars in Jamestown NY and Mace Motors in Ocala, Fl, which he owned with his son.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diana Purpura Mace, son Steven (Jennifer) Mace and daughter Debra (William) Hart all of Ocala, Fl. He was proud of and very much a part of the lives of his children and 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, Michael, Amanda and Julia.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday June 8, 2018 at 10 AM at St. James RC Church with internment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Rev. Darrell Duffy pastor of St. James Catholic Church will be celebrant.
