Matthew William “Billy” Eskeli IV, 20, of Falconer passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (July 2, 2019) in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio, the result of an automobile accident.
He was born February 14, 1999 in Warren, PA, the son of Matthew W. Eskeli III and Stephanie L. Dankovich Eskeli.
Billy was a 2017 graduate of Falconer High School and was Valedictorian of his class. He was currently a student at Rochester Institute of Technology pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Billy was active in the Rochester Institute of Technology Electric Vehicle Team, and while in high school was active in Falconer cross country and track teams, and Chautauqua County 4-H.
Billy enjoyed skiing, riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his friends and family. Billy was humble, kind, smart, and witty.
Surviving are his parents Matthew W. and Stephanie L. Eskeli of Falconer; his maternal grandfather Stephen Dankovich of Falconer; his paternal grandparents; M. William Eskeli, DVM and Donna Eskeli of
Falconer; aunts: Stacy (Carl) Brand of Ashville, Suzanne (Scott) Harding of Jamestown, and Michelle (Matt) Turecek of Jamestown; cousins: Kate and Colin Brand of Ashville, Natalie and Caleb Turecek of Jamestown, and Ethan Harding of Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Janice Dankovich who died April 25, 2015.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Falconer Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held Monday in the funeral home. Rev. Steve Kilburn will officiate. Inurnment will be in Ross Mills Cemetery.
