Jeanette A. Calabrese, 92, of Falconer passed away Saturday (September 28, 2019) in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
She was born March 12, 1927 in Long Island, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette Cooke.
Jeanette was a graduate of Jamestown High School and prior to retirement was employed by DeBell Vending in Falconer.
She was a life member of the Henry Mosher Post 638, American Legion Auxiliary, War Vets Recreation and the former John W. Tiffany Post VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving are two grandsons: Christopher Lawson and Gregory Lawson; three nieces: Sharon Bodnar, Teresa Konopelko, Gail Burstein; three step children: Angeline Briggs, Jeffrey Calabrese and James Calabrese Jr.; a sister Ruth Wessels; two brothers: Rev. James Cooke and George Cooke.
She was preceded in death by her husband James S. Calabrese whom she married July 29, 1983, who died July 28, 1998 and her daughter Debra Lawson who died May 12, 2002, three sisters: Lillian Nola, Dorothy Borgert, Mary Oles, and two brothers; Charles Cooke and Howard Cooke.
A private graveside service will be held in Fluvanna Cemetery.
