Obituary of James T. Graham

James Thomas Graham, 83, of Falconer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. He was a dearly loved father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother and a generous friend to many in the community. He was born October 8, 1937 in Angelica, NY, the son of the late Hubert Mack and Vinnie Gardner Graham. He was a 1954 graduate of Falconer High School. Prior to his retirement at the end of 1999, he was Plant Superintendent at Ellison Bronze, in Falconer, and he was previously employed by Watson Manufacturing Company in Jamestown. Jim was a very active member of the Falconer United Methodist Church, serving as a trustee and treasurer for many years and a host for numerous bereavement receptions at the church. He was long-time member of the Kiwanis Club of Falconer, served as president and enjoyed participating in their community service programs. He enjoyed being with his brother, children and grandchildren. He always looked after the wellbeing of his neighbors, mowing their lawn and removing snow. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, enjoyed gardening, bird watching and traveling. Surviving are his four children: Randall (Diana) Graham of Lakewood, Joel (Rhonda) Graham of Lakewood, Christine (Randy) Bryant of Westerville, OH, Suzanne Graham of Gahanna, OH; three step-children: Karl (JoAnn) Donn of Durham, NC, Katherine (Simon) Yu of Clarence, NY, Thomas (Teresa) Donn of Greenwood, SC; thirteen grandchildren: Christopher Graham, Adam Graham, Paul Graham, Sara Carlson, William Bryant, Sophia Bryant, Christopher Donn, Michael Donn, Stephanie Baird, Katherine Stahlka, Nicholas Yu, Bethany Leitón, Mallory Donn; 15 great grandchildren; a brother Steve (Nancy) Graham of Kennedy, NY and a sister Mary Jane (Richard) Pond, of Kennedy, NY . Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marlene Edmond Donn Graham, on November 12, 2019, whom he married October 30, 1982. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister: Hubert Graham, Dennis Graham and Donna Graham Ericsson. A private funeral service will be held in the Falconer Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held for the public at a later date.
