Donald Joseph Camarata, 82, of Jamestown, NY passed away Friday (January 29, 2021) in Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing due to complications of COVID-19.
A lifelong area resident of Jamestown, he was born on May 12, 1938, to the late Joseph and Catherine Hough Camarata.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Shirley Martin Camarata.
Donald was a graduate of Falconer High School and served in the US Army from 1959-1961. He was employed for 22 years at Amco, also Bush Industries & Carts. He was a past member of Fluvanna Community Church.
He is also survived by his four children Lisa (Tom) Tibbs, Lori (Lewis) Nickerson, Lynn (Jim) Mayer and Butch Camarata (Dana). Brothers: Paul (Eleanor) Camarata and his twin Ronald (Doreen) Camarata. Three step daughters Stacey Chase (Andy Foti) Sueanne (Steven) Muscarella, Heidi (Michael) Camarata. The mother of his children Joann Camarata. His special daughter in law Michelle Camarata. Also, several grandchildren and step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will not be observed.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
