Obituary of Sally J. Neathery

Sally J. (Saff) Neathery, 86, of Loxahatchee, Florida passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, in Loxahatchee, Florida. She was born May 10, 1935, in Kane, Pennsylvania, to Arthur O. and Doris M. Johnson Saff. Sally was a graduate of Falconer High School and employed by the former Marine Midland Bank. She is survived by her husband Thomas H. Neathery, Jr. whom she married in 1957; two sons: Stephen H. (Katie) Neathery of West Palm Beach, Florida; James A. (Melissa) Neathery of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren: Chelsea (Andrew) Jensen, Cody (Jacqui) Klein, T.J. (Marissa) Neathery, Andrew Neathery and her brother Jon (Sally) Saff of Falconer, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Doris Saff. Sally Neathery is home and face to face with Jesus, her Lord. In life, she honored Him with her fervent prayers and service to others. She was tender and compassionate, but not afraid to speak up to defend truth and justice. Although she struggled with physical limitations and chronic pain, her disposition remained optimistic and her trust in God never wavered. Inspired by her example, her family has set a course to live fearlessly to the glory of God. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Falconer Baptist Church (37 W. Falconer St., Falconer, NY). Pastor Gordon Robbins will officiate. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Falconer. Family visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
