Obituary of Agnes M. Tilaro

Agnes M. Tilaro, 97, of Falconer passed away peacefully Monday (November 8, 2021) in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong area resident she was born October 21, 1924 in Falconer, the daughter of the late Russell and Josephine Cardinale Conti. Aggie was a graduate of Falconer High School and prior to retirement was employed by Sanitary Wiping in Jamestown. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church in Falconer. Aggie will be remembered for always being there for her family and taking care of them. She is survived by her son, Dr. Frank (Cheryl) Tilaro of Ogden, Utah; her daughter Mary Jo (Mark) Swanson of Jamestown; two grandchildren: Bethany Swanson Brininger (Todd Brininger) of Bowling Green, Ohio, Joseph Swanson of Aurora, Colorado; three great grandsons: Luca, Leo and Marco Brininger and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward R. Tilaro whom she married November 23, 1946 in Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, who died May 29, 1995; a son Russell Tilaro on September 1, 2015 and three brothers: John, Sam and Russell Conti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, Falconer. (Facemasks will be required for Mass) Rev. Joseph Jananczek pastor of the church will be celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Jamestown. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. A Christian Wake service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be donated to Jamestown Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 56, Jamestown, NY 14702-0056 or to the Evergreen Health Services, 408 W. Fifth St., Jamestown, NY 14701.
