Anna Mae McMillin, 92, of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly Saturday (December 18, 2021) in her home.
She was born March 30, 1929 in Meadville, PA, the daughter of the late Charles S. and Mabel Greenfield Fails.
Anna was a graduate of Linesville High School and attended Slippery Rock University. Prior to retirement in 1992 she was employed by Falconer Agway Farm Center. Bored with retirement she worked at Molly Browns Agway and later Youngsville Home and Garden.
Growing up on a farm instilled her appreciation of nature and animals. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Anna enjoyed cooking for family and was a talented seamstress. One of her greatest joys was attending her son and later in life grandsons sporting events.
Surviving is her daughter Janet McMillin-Jaszcz and husband David Jaszcz of Jamestown; daughter in law Sally McMillin of Conneaut Lake, PA; three grandsons: Patrick Jaszcz (fiancé Jamie Mangini), Jason R. (Tiffany) McMillin, Benjamin J. McMillin and two great grandsons: Mason and Cal McMillin.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Victor C. McMillin on March 1, 2009.
A service for family will be held in the Falconer Funeral Home. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Pierpont Township, Ohio.
