Obituary of Dean E. Martin

Dean E. Martin Dean Edward Martin, 84, who spent his last days on Earth surrounded by his family, entered into eternal life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 28, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Luvinia Pauline Martin for over 60 years, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Dean was born November 4, 1937 in Beccaria Township, PA. He was the son of the late Samuel Martin and Dorothy Irene (Robeson) Martin. Dean graduated from Beccaria High School and prior to retirement was employed by MRC/ TRW/ SKF for 38 years of service. He also worked for Jamestown Burial Company for several years. Dean had also served as caretaker for several area cemeteries, and took great pride in maintaining them. He belonged to several area trap and skeet clubs as a life time member. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan. Dean was also a member of Eastside Fellowship. Dean’s family was his greatest joy. He was honored to lend a helping hand when someone need help with a project or give advice to solve a problem. He is survived by his children: Christina Martin (Gary Tripp), Cynthia (Robert) Learn, Dean E. (Carol) Martin II, Cathleen Jewell, Christal Green (Glenn Wallace) Darren (Wendy) Martin; 17 grandchildren: Michael (Jennifer) Smith, Christine Perez, Curtis (Emily) Smith, Dean Martin III, Daniel Martin, Amber Jewell, Alexis Way, Jake Way, Casey Green, Dominic Pail, Justin Martin, Nicholas Martin, Madilyn Martin, Chantel (Eric) Estes, Bridgett Learn, Rusty Wallace, Levi Wallace; 11 great grandchildren: Jonathan and Christopher Smith, Lauren Perez, Colin and Alexander Fuchs, Gavin Summey, Josephine Satterlee, Kynlee Way, Kaiser Smith, Caleb and Caden Estes. He is also survived by two brothers: Thomas and Barry Martin; and three sisters: Sandra Martin, Phyllis Wrobleski, Vallorie Maritn as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Rose Martin; brothers: Glynn and Douglas Martin; sisters: Dorothy Hedstrom and Bonnie Anderson. No funeral service or visitation will be held at this time. A future service will be announced at a later date. Inurnment will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Sugar Grove PA in 2022. Memorials may be donated to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care or Eastside Fellowship.
