Melinda S. Cameron, 57, of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly Sunday (March 13, 2022) in her home.
A lifelong area resident she was born January 25, 1965 in Jamestown, the daughter of Joseph A. Cameron and Carolyn Bryant Stauffer.
Melinda attended Falconer High School and in earlier years was employed by the Resource Center.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Melinda loved to travel to Florida to visit her daughters and grandsons.
Surviving is her mother Carolyn Stauffer of Jamestown; two daughters: Adrena (Cody) Rawls, Erin (Kevin) Christy both of Tampa, FL; two grandsons: Christian Gomez, Kason Christy; a brother Victor Cameron; sister Jean Cameron both of Jamestown; step sisters Kelley (Helmuth) Glatt of St. Louis, MO and Valory (Brent) Isaacson of Sinclairville.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Cameron, her stepfather Robert Stauffer and a sister Cindy Salvaggio.
A celebration of Melinda’s life will be held at War Vets Recreation Center on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
